Tao 68

When trying to accomplish, do not use violence.
When playing the role of adversary, do not manifest anger.
When victorious, do not hold your position over those who have lost.
When playing the role of leader, do not dominate.

This sentiment expresses the virtue of non-contention.
This is how to empower others and ultimately, humanity.
This is what allows a society to be sustained.
